Our New Addition
Posted June 30, 2009
on:We have a new addition to our family, she’s a german shepard mix and is absolutely adorable. Her name is Madeline “Maddie” for short and was a rescue from the Inland Valley Humane Society. She has adapted extremely well and is now getting along with our cat Jimmy. She just recently had her first play date with Chelle’s dog Sydney, and was completly exhausted and slept the entire night. We couldn’t have asked for a more loving dog. I’ve posted a picture and hopefully Chelle will post the pictures from their play date.

Summer Soireé
Posted June 30, 2009
on:I absolutely LOVE this the Summer Soireé line from Fancy Pants Designs. This line offers so many possibilities! I am attaching some ideas for you to see that Fancy Pants has on their blog. You can make so many different layouts, cards and altered projects with this group of papers – and they do not have to be “summer related” as you can see! Happy Creating! ~Susan B.
Graduation
Posted June 30, 2009
on:My sister graduated this month from UCI with a BS in Chemistry.. her school was paired with the school of the arts or something like that… you know how the new graduates walked on the stage after their name is called and shake hands with someone, pose for a picture and walk down off the stage? Well, some of the graduates in this school of the arts or whatever it was, would throw up confetti into the air so it would come twinkling down, and some did a little dance (or the same dance as the person before him/her). It was quite different from the science students…but you can definitely tell that they are each in the right major for him/her. Here are a few pics:And here is a picture of the frame that I made for her with the graduation paper I got at SGT. =)This is was probably my first experiment with the Silhouette and the fonts that it can cut out… and my first time welding! I think I did alright… Prolly coulda been betta, but I was satisfied enough. =)

SGT Garage Sale
Posted June 29, 2009
on:For those of you who attended the garage sale friday night…I hope you guys had as much fun as I did! Not only was this this my first time selling at the SGT Garage sale, but it was also my first time even attending one. I couldnt believe all the great treasures everyone was parting with. I saw almost every seller sneak over to the other tables to see what treasure they could find. Even though I was parting with alot of my stuff to make some room, I of course didnt come home empty handed. Now I cant wait to spend my SGT credit to fill in all the little gaps I made by selling some of stuff. If you didnt make it to the garage sale this time around, make sure you make it to the next…you wont be dissapointed! Keep an eye on our facebook or twitter to be the first to know the next garage sale date and other SGT events.
Cute Cupcake Invitation
Posted June 29, 2009
on:One of our customers was working on the cutest cupcake invitation last week at the Club Java crop. I just couldn’t resist taking a photo and posting it here for inspiration. Thanks, Jennifer!

(BTW, this invite was cut at the SGT die cut center.)
Below is another view of the “open” invitation. Isn’t it just too adorable?
Ohh Baby!!
Posted June 28, 2009
on:I just completed a personalized pennant banner for a customer, she gave me a baby shower invitation to go by and this is what I came up with. The baby’s name was Sadie, and the invitation had light pink, raspberry pink and lime. I will be making another one for the store to advertise custom banners.
