Basic Grey – Porcelain
Posted March 12, 2009
on:Basic Grey is batting a 1000 with all of the great lines they have been designing one right after another, and here they go again with their latest line appropriately titled “Porcelain.” This line features a variety of papers, stickers, chipboard die cuts, rub ons, brads, and epoxy brads. The colors are soft enough for Easter pages with an accent on the chocolate brown. How yummy! Below is a sample from Kelly Goree
she titled her mini album “Love Notes.” Kelly Goree writes the Newsletter for Basic Grey which comes out monthly which includes wonderful ideas on using Basic Grey products in layouts, cards and other crafts. One of our own Good Time Girls created the layout below with the Porcelain line. Beautiful. It is currently on display next to the Basic Grey rack. Come check it out! Happy Creating! -Susan B.

on:It’s beginning to look like CHA!!! It is already starting to arrive and all I have to say is OMG!! The colors of this new Basic Grey line are absolutely beautiful. They are very versatile also. I could see feminine pics with this paper and even pics of my teenage son skateboarding. They came out with a card kit too and the kit makes 8 different cards (at about $2.00 a card). Have you seen the prices of cards at Hallmark?? Robbery. I picked some of this paper up today, but no worries, I left some for all of you.

First page of 2009!

on:Hooray for the first layout of the year!
I had a chance to work with the new Bittersweet line by Basic Grey. I’ve been wanting to scrap this pic of my daughter for awhile now and this line was just the perfect thing. Let me just tell you if you haven’t seen it yet it is absolutely YUMMY! I have a feeling it won’t be on the shelves for long -lol!
I picked up several different patterns as well as the chipboard embellishments and the rubon booklet. When it came time to decide what paper I wanted to use, I couldn’t choose because I love them *ALL* so instead of picking a couple I used a bunch of the different patterns in small squares. (The layout is a scraplift of a page by a scrapping friend.)
The new BASIC GREY is in!!!

on:Your eyes are not deceiving you…Basic Grey is here!!! I did a quick drive by the store yesterday and just when I was about to check out–Trish says ” did you see??? we got Basic Grey in!!” I was in such hurry to go that I didn’t get to enjoy it, to touch it and marvel at it in all its glory! The shelves are packed with the stuff–come on in while it’s still fully stocked–have a carpet party as we call it. Its when we sit on the floor and layout all the papers and embellishments and decide what to buy. This is a highly anticipated release and as we all know Basic Grey doesn’t dissapoint!!! {{PEEJ}}
Get you Two Scoops!!!
Posted January 20, 2008
on:I was in the store today and I was pleased to see on the shelves the new Basic Grey line called Two Scoops. It’s so pretty that I bought it all. As I had laid ou
t all of my papers out on the table, it caught the attention of some of the other girls at
work too. I think my favorite paper is the one with the cupids all over it. Perfect for Valentine’s. The sherbert like colors of this collection are also perfect for Easter. Come by the store and check it out.
