I am so in love with the new diecut center in the store! Today a group of friends and I visited SGT to do a little shopping and check out the new diecut center. Everyone was gathered ’round, oohing and ahhing at the die selection and possibilites. Everywhere we turned there were dies; in drawers, on shelves, and behind us! It was so much fun playing with all the new dies but the best part was playing with all the fun papers the dies will cut. We cut chipboard shapes, ghost shapes (from awesome new thick acetate), sugarcoated paper shapes (from the new sugarcoated papers in the front of the store)…the possiblities are endless! My personal favorite dies right now are the paisleys die and the 11.5″ circle die.

I am lovin’ this rockin’ diecut center and I can’t wait to use them all!

Here is an ID tag and monogram “J” I made for my Junkitz JUNK bag using some of the Accu-cut dies. It was so easy to do! ~~Jennifer

QKA May Kids Class Pic

If you couldn’t make it to our Class Kickoff last Friday and haven’t been into the store yet, here’s a peek at our new Quickutz Anonymous class. It will be a kids theme. We’ll make the usual 2-page layout (designed by Barbara), 3 decorated wooden blocks (designed by Krista) and a lovely bookmark that is meant to honor a special adult (designed by Barbara).  We are so excited about this class. Many of the spots filled up at Class Kickoff but there were a couple left. Call the store and reserve your spot right away if you’re interested. ~ Krista & Barbara

Phew! Barbara and I worked so hard to get all of our Quikutz Anonymous class projects for May and June completed for Class Kickoff. Thanks to ALL of you who showed up. It’s such a compliment to all of us on the Design Team. Makes all that hard work worth it when we hear there’s a line all the way to REI just to get first dibs on classes. I think it’s safe to say Class Kickoffs will always be a big event so for those of you who couldn’t make it, keep your eyes and ears open for the next one. We do them every two months.

Wow!!! I can’t wait for the class kick off event this Friday 4/2 at 5:00pm. I have been drooling over all the great new classes the SGT design team has put together. Joy and I will be debuting two new classes. Our May class will be a tribute to dear ‘ol dad. while our June class is all about the daring boy in your life… our Extreme Boy explosion box is really over the top. Hope to see everyone Friday. Here’s a sneek peek at our next class.  Melissa

This week is Quickie Card Wednesday! We’ll be making a matchbook card. They’re so easy to assemble and a nice change from the standard single-fold greeting card. This is made with gorgeous papers from Crate Paper and we’ll also be using one of the brand new Fancy Pants swirly stamps. I’ll be in the store from 11:30am to 1:00pm. Hope I see you!   ~Cindy
