This was the amount I would have had to pay if I didn’t sign up for a year subscription with Quickutz  for only $14.99 a month!!! It had been almost a month since I last down loaded my quickutz shapes, and $1874.58 was the grand total. Now I have even more shapes and even some quotes to start creating new projects.

Last week at Tag Me Monday, I was talking to some customers on how I organized my card-stock, scrap paper, etc… I bought  these 12×12 vertical paper organizers by Cropper Hopper that we carry in the store. I keep all my 12×12 card-stock in one and I use the sticker envelopes to separate my scrap. I have about 13 of them that I have labeled by theme: baby, holidays, masculine, feminine, sports and so on. I posted some pictures from my scrapbook room. I hope this helps to get you organized.

And I just had to add this last picture of Maddie hanging out in my scrapbook room just because she looked so darn cute!!!

No not really, but would love to move to Oregon or Washington where it is much cooler. Our air conditioning went out this afternoon and it is stinking hot. Even the dog can’t get comfortable, I had to put a wet towel on her head and paws just so she would lay down. She looked hysterical and the funniest part about it, she let me do it!IMG_0024

I just got home from an employee birthday crop for Trish. We have been celebrating all month long and for good reason, you only turn 40 once. So once again Happy Birthday Trish!!! I had a great time cropping and catching up with OLD friends(Nancy and her mom jeans)…no pun intended!!!!! you know I love you Nancy.

If you haven’t heard of  Tag Me Monday, you’re in for a real treat. Every
Monday you will make a cute little tag that you can attach to a gift, add
to a page or just use as inspiration. It’s simple! Come in on a Monday and
spend $10.00 or more, or $20.00 if your part of Save SGT and the tag is
free otherwise, you can purchase the tag for just $2.00. If there are any
tags left you can purchase one at the front register. Hope to see you next
Monday, Happy Tagging!!!!!!!!

We have a new addition to our family, she’s a german shepard mix and is absolutely adorable. Her name is Madeline “Maddie” for short and was a rescue from the Inland Valley Humane Society. She has adapted extremely well and is now  getting  along with our cat Jimmy. She just recently had her first play date with Chelle’s dog Sydney, and was completly exhausted and slept the entire night. We couldn’t have asked for a more loving  dog.  I’ve posted a picture and hopefully Chelle will post the pictures from their play date.

I just completed a personalized pennant banner for a customer, she gave me a baby shower invitation to go by and this is what I came up with. The baby’s name was Sadie, and the invitation had light pink, raspberry pink and lime. I will be making another one  for the store to advertise custom banners.

My precious little angel from Heaven. Yes, that’s exactly what she was. We had to put our beautiful chow Shepard mix down on Friday. She had been battling Melanoma of the mouth for the past 2 months and just couldn’t fight any longer. This was the hardest day ever, but knowing she is no longer in pain brings us comfort. Thank you to all of you who kept Kealy and my family in your prayers, you are truly appreciated. God Bless.

A big THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!! To the Tuesday morning crop ladies, you are the BEST!!!!!!! Everyone kept asking me ,why are you working on your Birthday? And my response was, “Tuesday is my favorite day of the week, how could I miss it?” I especially want to thank Irene, Sharon, Nancy (old eyes), both Linda S’s, Downtown Mary Brown, Moss, Heidi HO HO, Tracie, Donna, Trish and Vivina for making my Birthday so special. I love you all!! I pray I live another 41 years!!!!!!!!!!!

And I just can’t hide it……This is my very, very favorite time of every other month, CLASS KICK OFF!!!!!!! I just get so excited to see everyone’s creations and  to see all of our customers come in to see them as well. If you’ve never taken a class and feel intimidated, please don’t .We  have new students in our classes all the time. Even if you don’t finish your project , our picture instructions are excellent. The sample of the class will be left in the store until the end of the month. We also offer class kits, so if you can’t make the class you can always sign up for a class kit. Can’t wait to see you . Have a blessed day.
