Posted June 14, 2008
on:Happy Father’s Day to all the Dad’s this weekend! Especially to the new Dad in our bunch (Shafor) and the new two timmer Dad (Nash). And if you have not made your Dad’s Day Cards yet Scrappin’ Good Times has the perfect paper from Creative Imaginations from their line Old Guys Rule. I previously blogged about this line when it first came into the store, click on Old Guys Rule to view. Happy Creating!-Susan B.
Old Guys Rule!

on:There is a new line by Creative Imaginations called “Old Guys Rule.” This is so my Dad! In fact there are t-shirts at Chicks Sporting Goods that have “Old Guys Rule” imprinted on them. I bought my Dad one and he wears it to his favorite coffee hang out in Sierra Madre. So, when I saw this line I thought how perfect it would be to make a memorable card for Dad’s Day using the paper and inserting a picture of him in his t-shirt! The line has six different papers, two sets of chipboard stickers with “way cool” sayings such as “The Older I Get… The Better I Was!” or “Restoration Project.” There is two set of sticker embellishments, and metal brads. So many possibilities even if your Dad is not a surfer (the line favors the sixties long board surfer feel). Check it out here at Creative Imaginations. -Susan B.
It’s Happy Hour again at the SGT Creative Café Thursday, November 29 from 5 pm – 7 pm. This week we are creating a Square CD Tin with Bazzill Cardstock and Holiday Paper from Best Creation .*
This is an adorable multi purpose CD Tin. If you are feeling super creative you can make a mini book to insert in the CD Tin. This makes a super cute hand made gift!! It can also be used for a Gift Card or a CD of your favorite pictures or Christmas Tunes. Gift Card and CD Inserts are also available.
As usual this project is super easy to recreate!! The cost of this make and take is $6.
* Make and takes are available while supplies last
