Scrappin' Good Times Blog

the other day, whilst selling at the garage sale, i spotted the new basic grey halloween line ‘erie’…i loved it! there wasn’t much left, so i grabbed just one sheet of my four favorites…i can’t wait to make up some spooky halloween cards!

i have been wanting to make a boo banner since last year, and this paper seemed perfect for it…

i used the paper to cover the fronts of the wood plaques, inked them all up with walnut ink, added crepe paper rosettes that i glittered…a bazzill scallop circle, and a circle of script halloween paper from last year…the letters were cut with my silhouette…then attached the plaques onto tulle, tying more tulle and ribbon between and at the ends…a button with a rhinestone brad (which i ‘antiqued’ with a copic marker) was the perfect touch to add to the bows…then a few scattered bats…simple and easy!

Just wanted to let you know that there are class seats open in both my classes this weekend. From 11am until 1:30pm I’ll be teaching Intro to Scrapbooking, which is a great one for anyone who is just getting started in this terrific hobby. And for you more experienced scrappers, from 2:00pm until 4:30pm I’ll be teaching “You Are My Sunshine” – a 6″ x 6″ mixed media book made of chipboard and acetate.

Beat the heat and join me in the S.G.T. classroom! ~CindyF073009 084073009 054 (Large)
