Are you doing the Hop?

Edited on 8/26 to announce a winner: Michelle Sanchez, come on down! You are the lucky lady whose name I drew out of my basket. I’ll be by the store next Tuesday and will leave your prize at the front register. Congrats!

So are you part of this year’s SoCal Shop Hop? There’s just about one week left of this year’s event (it ends next Sunday, 8/23). SGT sold out its original stock of passports, but I understand we got some more in. (There’s still time to join in on the fun!)

One of things I’ve enjoyed most is meeting up with other Shop-Hoppers. I met some at our Class Kickoff (including some FaceBook friends that I hadn’t yet met in person). I’ve also run into some of our regular Good Time Girls while out hopping which has been great fun (shout out to Sharon W, Irene, Stephanie and Sharon R.!)

How about you? Have you run into other Good Time Girls out on your expedition? Had any exciting experiences? (The first year we got lost pretty good in Temecula – ugh!) Or any other memorable events you’ll not soon forget?

Tell us about your ShopHop adventures with a comment here at the SGT blog. After the ShopHop is over, I’ll draw one lucky name from all the Shop Hopping blog commenters to receive a prize from me. (And if you want to read about my hopping trek, you can check in at my blog over the next week: MammaJamma Blabba.)

If you run into me out there on the SoCal  “serengeti”  be sure to say hi (I’m down to only seven stores to visit – Wildomar, Temecula and cities near San Diego – on Friday 8/21). Hope I see some of you!

It sounds like you are having an AMAZING time on the Shop Hop! I am too. I just did 14 stores and am now home for some rest and relaxation. Only 2 more stores to go (will go on Wed. with my niece). This is my first Shop Hop and it is a blast. Just wish I had more money to get all the cute items that catch my eye. Good luck with your San Diego Hop on Friday. Take care!

OMG! THIS WAS A FIRST TIME FOR ME AND I LOVED IT. THE STORES HAVE EACH BEEN AMZING AND HAVE GIVEN ME THE OPPORTUNITY TO BUY ITEMS I HAVE NOT BEEN ABLE TO FIND AT MY LOCAL SHOP. THAT WAS FANTASTIC. THE BEST THOUGH HAS BEEN DRIVING AROUND AND FINDING NEW AREAS TO RETURN TO TO EXPLORE WITH MORE TIME. I CAME ACROSS TWO NEW CITIES… WHITTIER AND OLD TOWN LA VERNE. THEY BOTH PEAKED MY INTEREST AND I WILL BE MAKING SPECIAL DAY TRIPS TO BOTH OF THEM. ALWAYS A GOOD THING TO EXPLORE NEW SURROUNDINGS. 😀

I enjoy it very much, because it was time to be with my girl. I was her driver and it was so much fun trying to get to the stores and not get lost. But I will say the shops had a unique look to each one I enjoy that very. That gave me so much ideas. And I did love some of the area I went trough. So the only thing I can it a great experience.

This is my first year on the Shop Hop…..signed up last year but my shop hop buddy/sis cancelled on me. Oh well! I got to do it this year with my co-worker and OMG……we had a blast! I think we got a little hysterical in the car using her gps……she did 19 stores and I did 18. We did the first 14 together on the 15th, her hubby took her to 5 stores on Friday and my hubby took me to 4 stores yesterday. We really enjoyed it!! Yes, we ran into one SGT shopper at Scrapbook Cafe in La Puente. And the owner really gave us a cheer for our home store being SGT’s. Said SGT’s mentored them in opening their store!! We are definitely looking forward to the Shop Hop next year……only next year we are going to hit all the stores!! Wooo hooo!! Hope everyone had a great Shop Hop experience!

Cool site, love the info. I do a lot of research online on a daily basis and for the most part, people lack substance but, I just wanted to make a quick comment to say I’m glad I found your blog. Thanks,

A definite great read..
