hello peeps!

i did a layout today of my mother, my brother, and i from the seventies…i used a lot of vintage items on the layout and really wanted to use a swirl of prima pearls that i had…but they were stark white…so, what does a paintergirl do for a solution?

she grabs one of her beloved copic markers, that’s what…

copicmeetspearlsand, they become PERFECT for my layout!! yay! i took the picture halfway through so you could see the difference…cool, huh?

the color i used is Sand E33…i think i will bake some cookies for that awesome, wonderful gal that does the ordering so we can get that color in the store for you to give this a go (although, you can do this with any color you want for the project you are working on).

happy friday!

OMG! I walk into the store yesterday and what do I see by my Scraptherapy Bar?? New My Mind’s Eye just for summer.  This line is so stikin cute!  My faves are the paper with the woodies and surfboards and the itsy bitsy teeny weeny yellow polka dot bikini die cut.  This line features summer/beach/surfboard/family vacation themes complete with die cut shapes and words and rub-ons.  Unfortunately, I am technologically challenged and STILL don’t know how to post pictures….so you just need to come on down and check it out!!
