die cut love

Posted on: March 14, 2009

the other day, i noticed that all of the paper from the new my mind’s eye line ‘grow’ (of ‘bloom & grow’) has sold (not to worry, we’ll get more!!).  however, there are still plenty of packages of die cuts…

so, i thought i would show you what i did with that package, just in case you bought the paper but not the die cuts because you weren’t sure what to do with them!

first, the layout…i used lots of the flowers on here along with some bazzill flowers and large gems…i also used the journal piece cut in half, a tab, and a border from the sheet …then did a little hand cutting of the paper for some of the background pieces…all is inked up creamy brown chalk ink…

growcard1this card uses a few of the borders, lower, tag, leaf, and circle from the die cut sheet, that center circle is mounted with foam…

growcard2and, finally, on this card i used one of the tabs, journal block (cut in half), a flower, and leaf, and circle (again, popped up)…so easy and simple…

off to the garage sale at the store (you are coming, aren’t you????) with a car load of goodies!!
