Just a reminder that this Saturday, March 14, is our Yard Sale, 9:00 to 1:00.  Imagine, 13 mini yard sales of only scrapbooking supplies: paper, stamps, die cutting tools, embellishments galore.  You name it, it will probably be there.  So save some of your time  Saturday morning and stop by for some really great deals!

And another reminder that we have our first Friday night crop this year coming up on March 20, 5:00 to 11:00.  It’s only $12 for the evening.  That’s less than a movie, popcorn and soda!!  Bring some of those class kits you haven’t got around to putting together, or bring your own supplies to make your layouts.  Bring some pictures and really get those pages done.  The beauty of cropping at the store is that, if you need something, you just go find it.  Not to mention being surrounded by all the samples in our store to really get those creative juices flowing!!  Reserve your spot now.

See you soon!

Just in time for those sports pages as we begin Season Openers for the spring sports. MVP by We Are Memory Keepers offers everything you will need to complete those terrific action sports layouts. Or if you are feeling creative, this group would make an enthusiastic coach gift or cards for the coach and team Mom’s. It is never too early to start img_2011_edited-1img_2012_edited-1on those gifts, because before you know it the season will end. The papers in the line feature trophies, stars, most valuable player words, numbers, a newspaper and stripes. The possibilities are endless! The line features coordinating stickers and die cuts and grommets. Love those things. Especially on a masculine layout, gives it the rough and tough feel! We have been selling so well in the sports line, please do not wait to snap up some of this fun stuff for it might not be here too long – and then “You’re Out!” -Happy Creating! – Susan B.

Hello there!  Tomorrow’s project is the super cute microwave popcorn bunny cover.  Words cannot do it justice…this is so darn cute and Easter-y!   And yes…you get a microwave popcorn with each project!!  You just can’t get better than that people.  Easter is just a month away…so lets get poppin’!

Dr. Heidi Ho

I saw this cute idea on a scrapbookers blog (one of the regular contributors in Creating Keepsakes magazine, Elizabeth Kartchner) and thought how cute to combine a mini scrapbook with a fabric covered cover.  And, of course, it really caught my eye because of my recent infatuation with the whole “owl/woodland creature” theme that seems to be popping up all over!!  Anyway, I decided that I would try my luck at it; and since so many of the good time girls have been sharing their beautiful creations on this blog, I thought I would too!  Here is what I came up with:

The cover is hand stitched with a small amount of batting on the inside to give the owl some “puff,” and then I just traced the owl shape onto some yellow cardstock for the inside pages, and held it all together with a ring clip, which is hidden behind the flower.  Have a happy week!
