If you haven’t been in lately, be sure to look around… Val has been very busy cutting 12″ border embellishments to  accent your favorite pages.  She’s got a great variety of shapes in perfect colors to match your pages. The die cuts come 2 per package, just right for your two page layouts.

Your eyes do not deceive you! I am attempting a new class idea. A budget friendly, 1-hour class geared towards getting those who have never taken a class at SGT before to come see what all the fun is about. This of course is not to discourage the class veterans from attending as well.  You know you’re always welcome.

Here’s what we’ll be doing in our first class. A 3-flag banner that says “You R My Sunsine”. I envision this banner hanging on my baby girls’ bedroom door. But there are so many options. Leave off the “You R My” and the “shine” and you have a banner that says “SUN”, perfect for your Spring decorating (the class will be held on the 1st day of Spring). Or don’t put any of the letters on it and have a pretty pink banner you can use to put another sentiment on, or to feature photos.

You’ll get to play with AccuCut machine and Crop-a-dile and see the 3 different inking techniques SGT uses demo’d.

I am also limiting the class size to 10 students. This is so I can provide proper amount of direction and attention to each person. Should my first class fill up, I would LOVE to offer a second 1-hour session on the same day. So please add your name to the waiting list if you find the first class full.

So if you’re interested, and can spare 1 hour on a Saturday, come join me on March 21st from 12-1PM for this fun filled Spring themed class.

There is a new scrapbook company that has the cutest papers and sticker embellishments. The company called Bella Blvd. , creates  clean, simple but not elementary designs that are so fun to use. Scrappin’ Good Times carried their travel collection – “Pack Your Bags” and the “Family Tree” collection, both sold out very quickly. I was in the store yesterday and saw that Scrappin’ Good Times now has Bella Blvd.’s two most recent collections. One is called “Into Sweet Spring” and the other is called “Sweet Celebration.” The Sweet Celebration is all about birthdays! And the Into Swing Spring features Easter/Spring colors with coordinating stickers. I love the freshness of the paper – especially after all the rain, the bright colors are so welcoming. I am using this paper for my card I designed for the April 2nd Scrap Therapy project. It  came out so cute! I know you can get creative with both of these lines. Bella Blvd. even has an idea link on their blog on how to create some fun projects using their products. Happy Creating- Susan B.
