I don’t know about you but I want the latest and greatest all the time, but it really doesn’t have to be that way.  I recently went on a scrap weekend and completed 18 pages all made from old paper.  This was mostly because I already had pictures matched to the paper and I didn’t have time to match the photos with some new paper.  I was really happy with the way my pages turned out.

So, the other day after my class I checked out the clearance section at SGT and found some really great buys.  Did you know they brought the clearance section back??  Yep!!  And I just received my e-mail about the big sale and party this Friday night.  I know I’m going to stock up!!  Although, with CHA  just around the corner, I will need the lastest and greatest too!!  I look at it this way…I will save money now by getting some great deals, that way, I will have more to spend later when the new stuff arrives.  Do you think my hubby will see it that way??  He!He!

Here is some inspiration for you…Julie

Halloween and Valentine’s are my two most favorite scrapbooking lines. I love them all when they come out and I especially love this line from Memory Makers called Love Notes. They have wonderful paper selections from a pink lace to a brown craft paper with red ink. There are three dimensional stickers, phrase stickers, rub-ons, mini love tickets on a spool, brads, and ribbon.  Everything is so dainty! This collection will make beautiful Valentines. Mix this product with Martha Stewarts new Valentine Vintage stickers and you have some terrific looking Valentine’s! Happy Creating -Susan B.

In case anyone is interested, I recently found a scrapping blog/website, (through the Ali Edwards site) called Elle’s studio.  Elle is doing a “handmade with Love” week (Jan.17-24) that include free downloads, giveaways and fun valentine project ideas.  The address is www.ellesstudio.blogspot.com.  Just some fun stuff to look, and cute ideas.

We had a great time last night at the Quickutz
Club. The project was a french fry box designed
by Good Time Girl Cindy. It is sooo cute and I
plan to put either licorice or suckers in mine and
give to my valentine.

I know I seem to say this about EVERY Scraptherapy project…but it is always true!  Tomorrow’s Valentine project is a DARLING altoid tin purse…oh help me!  Lizett designed this precious little purse.  Get this…it is only $4 if you come in and make it.  You so can’t beat that deal!  Do not miss out party people.  I hope to see all of your beautiful faces tomorrow evening…..

If you would like to bring your own supplies you will need: Adhesive, pop dots and charcoal chalk ink.
