No silly, I am not asking any of you.  This last week my son told me that he wanted to ask a girl to an upcoming school formal.  And I don’t know if any of you know this, but you can’t just simply ask the girl if she wants to go with you.  You have to do a special event or task.  Some people write on their car or house windows, some send cookie or candy grams and then there is the scrapbook sicko!!!  The last one is me.  LOL  Lizett gave me a great idea of using  the Accucut puzzle die at the store.  So I just printed out a simple question on a piece of 12×12 cardstock and used the die machine to do the rest.  I, also cut a piece of chipboard and another piece of cardstock  for the back.  Next step was inking and blinging it out and ta da!!

Every puzzle comes in a box so I decorated a cute tin to put the puzzle pieces in.

My son wanted a quick little poem on the tin but I thought that it would be cuter on a tag.  Trish piped in and told me to use the little 2×2 QK puzzle die to tie it all together.  We mixed up the puzzle and put it in it’s box and delivered it to her front door.

PS  She said Yes!

This is a page I recently finished for Crystal. The paper is from Reminisce – Be Mine line of papers and sticker embellishmnets. I layered the papers at an angle, added a small strip of felt from Queen & Co and mixed in some black hand drawn swirls with my new 3-D Gel Ink Pen from Sakura (so cool). Page two, I made a “pocket” for her to include the Valentine’s they saved. I used the heart stickers to make a “floating” verticle strip (all from Be Mine). Hand drawn stitch marks were made using a Sharpie White Paint Pen. Happy Creating -Susan B.crystal_val_page-003
