If you’re going to play it safe this weekend and stay in town (also saving money on gas!), then you should plan a trip to Scrappin’ Good Times.  If you have Quickutz, you MUST come in.  I’m sure you saw the newsletter about the big sale, but did you see in the small print that it INCLUDES SPECIAL ORDERS.  What a great opportunity to increase your collection.  And last time I checked, there were some spots left for the Monday crop.  What better way to spend a day off than cropping with friends (or strangers who will be friends by the end of the day) and creating some wonderful pages! 

And don’t forget to sign up for the SoCal Shop Hop.  The presale deal is great.  If you’re new to scrapbooking, this is a great way to check out the local stores and to save 20% on all the neat new stuff you want to buy.  I remember when my daughter and I first started scrapbooking, we spent more time shopping than we did scrapping, which is not uncommon from what I’ve heard.  It would have been nice to save 20% on everything.  I was working at the store a lot during the last Shop Hop (we keep calling it Sock Hop…) and everyone looked like they were having so much fun.  So Judy and I have bought our tickets and plan to take a couple of days and tour the stores.  She has a hybrid, so she gets to drive!!  If you’re worried about the cost of gas, plan to carpool with some friends and it won’t be so bad.  Watch for details on prizes if you go to a lot or all of the stores!

Hi girls!  If you missed our Scraptherapy session last night, don’t fret too much (we did have a good time!)  The darling magnetic memo holder is available and it is only $12.00.  This project is so darn cute!  The first thing I thought was, “what a wonderful gift this would make!”  You will also have to have one for yourself.  Come on in and grab a few!  Next week’s project is a great Father’s Day card….just perfect and right in time.  We always have such fun at the Therapy Bar.  I would love for all of you to join in our sessions….I know it always makes me feel great!
