Tonight I had the opportunity to meet one of Dr. Heidi’s faithfuls. What a gal! She was definitely encouraging about our little Heidi. Dr. Heidi always keeps us laughing and I can see why the girls would keep coming back to Scrap Therapy. If you haven’t already tried it, you are missing all of the fun. These ladies will keep you in stitches. I’m sure Dr. Heidi would be thrilled to have you.

I ARRIVED AT THE SHOP TODAY ONLY TO FIND EVEN MORE PRODUCT… MICHELLE FORGOT TO MENTION THE NEW PRESSED WOOD PRODUCTS FROM “BEYOND THE PAGE”. THAT IS THE PERFECT TITLE TOO…TAKE A BREAK FROM THE PAGES AND USE YOUR PAPER TO PLAY WITH NEW HANGING OPEN ALBUMS, WORD ALBUMS, RIBBON REELS AND DISPENSERS, STORAGE CRATES, MAGAZINE  STORAGE AND PAPER BINS, CLOCKS, LACE UP JOURNALS, AND EMBELLISHMENT CADDIES. USE THEM TO DECORATE YOUR HOUSE OR AS GREAT GIFT IDEAS.

Ladies….. guess what??  The new Kaiser paper and embellishments are here!!!  Yippee!  They have 24 different paper lines that consist of four papers each and adorable matching pebble brads.  There is also felt ribbon borders, rubons, flowers in three different sizes and, of course, bling.  My favorite part of the Kaiser is the lasered wood die cuts.  These are to die for!!  They can be painted, inked or left alone on a page.  Supplies are limited, so hurry in.

UCLA Heliport

OK, this blog has NOTHING to do with Scrapbooking BUT I do need to brag, at least a little.  My DH was a project engineer building the new UCLA replacement hospital for what seemed liked forever.  His main focus at the end was getting the heliport completed.  Well after a lot of engineering redos, headaches, inspections, etc, the first helicopter landed on it last Thursday.  YEAH!!!  It brought me to tears…not that it was completed but that my DH consulted with my Dad a whole lot.  You see my Dad was a helicopter pilot in Vietnam and has been a pilot/inspector/mechanic every since.  We even took my Dad to the job site and walked the landing pad before it was completed.   So you see the picture conjured up a whole lot of pride for both my Dad and Husband.  Having grown up at airports and flying, it just seems apropos that my DH is now building them.  (Funny how we swear we will NEVER marry anyone like our Dads)  Now I just need to put these thoughts and feeling and pictures on a layout.  Thanks for letting me share.
