Don’t Forget!! If you are one of the lucky few who are members of the Queen of the Quickutz Club, the first meeting is this Thursday, January 24 from 5 pm – 7 pm. You do not have to be there at 5 on the dot.  Get there anytime between 5 pm and 7 pm.  If we all spread out over those two hours no one should have to wait for anything.

CherriesYou will be receiving the Cherry (KS-0797) die from the latest release. Yes it’s a DoubleKutz die!

WoooHooo!!  The first month and we already get more than we were promised.  Quickutz is so good to us!!

So yesterday when I got home from work, I was working on a love themed project for the store. I needed a cute picture of me and my husband. I went searching through all of my 2007 photos and came up with squat. No problem. Thanks to digital cameras, I will just set up the tripod, set the timer on the camera, plop us on the couch, tell him to smile like he loves me and snap away. Just to be sure I came out with something usable, I checked myself in the mirror first. Not bad considering I had been at work all day and came home to get the little one dinner and all and it was 9:00PM. We took 5 pictures during a commercial break and off I went to upload them to the computer and then to Costco for printing. What the heck?!! Is that what I really look like? That is certainly not what the mirror reflected back at me. I didn’t see tired droopy eyes, or flat hair, or anything of the sort that these pictures were showing me. GRRRR!  So hence the title of this post.

Moral of my little blurb here …. hand your camera off to people and tell them to take pictures of YOU and your loved one(s). Don’t worry about being a bother to them. Don’t fear your camera is too complex for the common man to work. Don’t be shy. Don’t worry about seeming like a narcicist. After all the hard work you go through to scrapbook, you should be in at least some of the pictures. Don’t you think?

And heck no I am not posting those pictures on this blog! You’ll just have to come into the store and find my project which will have at least one of the horrible pictures on it.
