Take A Walk In SGT’s Garden…

on:There are so many new products all throughout the store that it is hard to keep track of it all. Yesterday I was taking a little stroll around the store and tucked in the front corner were these super cute papers from Bo Bunny’s new “Vintage Carnival” line. I was struck with inspiration and took a couple of each sheet, not sure what I would create just yet, but sure that I wanted that paper! As I was walking to the back of the store I saw this awesome display of Foo-Fa-La “Bags O’ Buttons” by Autumn Leaves. One of the Bags O’ Buttons, the “Going Places” Collection, matched the Bo Bunny paper PERFECTLY! Lizette was working with the die-cutting machine and one of the new coaster dies we just got in. I borrowed the machine from her for a few minutes and cut a few pieces of chipboard into coasters, cut a couple pieces of cardstock to cover them, went home, and created this, in one evening:
These are only a few of the pages from the book. For complete photos please check out my gallery or come to the Class Kickoff (this Friday night, October 5th from 5-7pm) to get a closer look at this book–all the supplies you need to create it are right there in the store, from the ribbon, to the paper, to the Quickutz dies. The book is a store sample so please feel free to match the papers and ribbons and take photos.
So take a stroll through the store because you never know where inspiration will strike or where you’ll find that scrapbooking diamond in the rough!
